PINK MONEY is about pink money. PINK MONEY is queer and ambiguous. PINK MONEY is performance, party and protest in one. PINK MONEY celebrates our differences and doesn't give a f*** about labels.

PINK MONEY is a queer project. Queer in its topic, queer in the identity of its performers, queer in combining contradicting aesthetics, cultural traditions or genderroles with each other and putting them next to each other on stage. It begins with so-called "pink money" = money, which is being generated by a LGBTIQ tourism. South Africa makes a lot with it. But who earns this money, who gets it, and in case of South Africa, which differences between a black, coloured and white community are being strengthened or even created through it? Who can be "out and proud" under which circumstances and who doesn't? So PINK MONEY is about the widly intertwined consequences and various constellations of "race&class"&sexuality" and their impact on the acceptance of homosexuality / transsexuality. The collaborators are a dancer, a singer, a DJ and a director.
